Oxygen Trial Results

Lagan MEICA Ltd have designed, built and operated a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) plant incorporating an Electrolyser for Northern Ireland Water at Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW). This Demonstrator has identified and quantified the benefits of oxygen-enriched aeration into secondary wastewater treatment processes using surplus Oxygen produced from green hydrogen electrolysis.
