Role Overview

Lagan MEICA is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your engineering career within a dynamic Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) environment, primarily supporting projects in the water and wastewater sector.

What you’ll do

At Lagan MEICA we’ll support you to develop your full potential for an exciting and rewarding career with us. You’ll be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning—while working towards professional accreditation. You’ll spend time working on essential infrastructure projects across water and wastewater sectors and gain valuable hands-on experience across design, site delivery, and commissioning. As you’d expect from a market leader, we will support you through a clear graduate development pathway. 

What you’ll bring

Essential:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn. 

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK & Ireland. 

• Full, valid driving license.

 Desirable:

• Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations. 

• Experience or placement within engineering or construction environments. 

• Exposure to water or wastewater projects. 

• Familiarity with CAD/BIM tools. 

• CSCS/CSR card (or willingness to obtain)
